I am a phd Candidate at university of michigan school of information
studying epistemic injustice in archives.
OVERVIEW
As an information scholar, I use archival science to interrogate whose knowledge production is valued within academic libraries and archives. My work addresses epistemic injustice in archives both theoretically and through practice-based intervention. Feminist epistemology helps theorize the significance of my research. It justifies personal and community archives’ historical legitimacy and reveals how unconventional and marginalized knowledge practices embody core attributes of archival science
